Get one of your photos and crop it to create a close up shot. Adobe Photoshop Elements is one of the best photo editing tools for under $100. There are also system pre-installed software to do cropping. If you are a Windows user, you can use Microsoft Paint. Go to Start menu, choose Run..., and then type in MSPaint. It will launch Paint. On the File menu, click Open to open your photo. In the toolbox, click the top right Select Tool to select your favorite part. On the Edit menu, click Copy To... to save your close up shot into a raw bmp file. You need to open the file to save it as jpg, png or gif so that you can upload it. If you are a Mac user, iPhoto has a simple crop tool under Edit. Open your photo and select your favorite part. Click crop button and save. You are ready to upload now.

Sorry, when you ask us to remove a child, we permanently delete the photo and reset all the voting statistics for that child.

Probably because we have so many children to choose look at, keep looking. Another possibility is that there was a problem with your photos. Choose "Edit My Account" in My Account page and make sure there is a photo for you, your spouse and the child. If any one of those is missing, we will not show the child on the homepage.

If you didn't upload photos when you joined, you can sign in and choose "Edit My Account" in My Account page. Click one of the "Browse..." buttons and choose a photo on your computer. If you are using a Mac, the button may say "Choose File". We support jpg, png and gif formats right now.

From the main page, if you click on the smaller photo of the dad or mom, you will be taken to another page which displays them in a larger format. On that page, you can click the parent photo to switch between the dad and the mom photos.

In My Account page you will find a list of your children and a link "Ask a friend to vote". It will lead you to email a link to your family. They will be able to click the link and be taken directly to your child's voting page.

You can Find a friend's child using his email, his or his child's first name, last name or both. You need to provide a complete email address. We do accept partial name input. If you provide a complete name, you will get a close match.
